North Bay residents are capitalizing on Black Friday specials today. At Best Buy, store general manager Drew Kingston says there was a large crowd waiting for the store to open at 6:00am. Kingston says employees interacted with shoppers before the opening. Kingston says it was fun talking to shoppers and he also saw some familiar faces from past Black Fridays. Kingston says it was pretty chaotic at the start and that was followed by a short lull giving his employees a break before things get very busy for the rest of the day. And that`s not an exaggeration. Kingston says with some 60 inch TV`s going for as little as $800, he expects a very busy day right up to 11:00pm.
Wal-Mart was also busy with its fair share of early morning shoppers taking advantage of specials. Black Friday specials are taking place at most retailers across the city and some sales are extending beyond today.
