New Brunswick bans tethering of dogs overnight… North Bay opinion….

New Brunswick is banning the tethering of dogs overnight. As of December 1st, dogs cannot be kept outside for more than a half an hour at a time. Executive Director of the North Bay Humane Society, Daryl Vaillancourt, says the association is in support of anything that will help improve the wellbeing of dogs, and other animals. He adds that he could see the new law coming to Ontario next. Meanwhile… It was announced this week that North Bay is opening its first of three dog leash parks, either this fall or in the spring.
