The City of North Bay has issued an advisory regarding door-to-door water filtration system sales.
The posting advises residents that there are currently no companies authorized to represent or act on the behalf of the City of North Bay nor the City Water Department.
If approached by anyone claiming to represent the City of North Bay, residents are encouraged to ask to view a City-issued identification and/or contact the Public Works Dispatch at 705-474-4340.
Residents should contact the North Bay Police Service if they feel individuals are falsely representing themselves and attempting to gain personal or banking information.
