The person who helped oversee the merger of the Caisse Populaires in Northeastern Ontario, including those in North Bay and Sturgeon Falls, now heads the new entity. The transition board has announced Pierre Dorval as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. The amalgamation of all the offices takes effect January 1st at which time the organization will be officially known as Caisse Populaire Alliance. In advance of that, the Caisse has already started adding Alliance to its letterhead.
