North Bay Toyota celebrates 40th anniversary with major pledge to hospice

To mark forty years in business, North Bay Toyota has pledged $40,000 to Nipissing Serenity Hospice’s capital campaign.

Chair of the hospice, Mathilde Bazinet says the generous donation will bring the group one step closer to reaching their fundraising goal. Construction is set to begin on the hospice in the spring.

The financial pledge comes in tribute to North Bay Toyota founder Aldo Canarino and wife Amelia, as the dealership celebrates its 40th anniversary this month. North Bay Toyota’s Tim Falconi, on behalf of the ownership group, says that recognition of the Canarinos commitment to community was due. Falconi adds that the pledge is on behalf of all of the group’s holdings, including North Bay Mitsubishi and both Rona locations, in addition to the Toyota dealership.

Corporate fundraising committee member Dave Mendicino says that the pledge is greatly appreciated and will give a major boost to the fundraising efforts.
