New top dog at North Bay and District Humane Society

The North Bay and District Humane Society has found its next executive director to replace Daryl Vaillancourt.  Liam Cullin assumed his new role on Tuesday.   Cullin’s background is marketing and communications for the YMCA.   He was regional manager for the Y in Northeastern Ontario before assuming his new role with the humane society.   His new duties involve overseeing the overall operations of the local humane society and to help develop a range of animal welfare programs and services.  Cullin was born in Timmins and educated at the University of Western Ontario in London.  He’s lived in North Bay with his family since 2000.   Vaillancourt is a now a senior manager with the Ontario SPCA.
