On December 31, at 11:20pm, officers from the North Bay OPP responded to a head-on motor vehicle collision on Highway 17 in East Ferris Township.
The investigation of the collision revealed that two vehicles collided, causing extensive damage to both vehicles. The three occupants of the vehicles were all injured and were transported by ambulance to the North Bay Regional Health Centre with non-life threatening injuries.
A 69-year-old Bonfield woman has been charged with:
- Change Lane – Not in Safety contrary to Section 142(1) of the Highway Traffic Act
She has been issued a provincial offence notice with a set fine.
The highway had been closed from the time of the collision until it reopened at approximately 12:39am on January 1.
