The OPP is reporting that the passenger who was taken to hospital with serious injuries as a result of a head-on collision on Highway 17 in East Ferris last Thursday, has died.
Eugene Boron, 83, of Bonfield has succumbed to his injuries suffered in the crash.
The drivers of the two vehicles, Stephane Terbovc, 27, of Bonfield and Gertrud Boron, 80, also of Bonfield, were pronounced dead at the scene and their names were released by officials last week.
Members of the North Bay Detachment of the OPP responded to the fatal motor vehicle collision on January 4, at approximately 7:12am. The collision occurred on Highway 17, west of Dube Road in the Municipality of East Ferris. A westbound passenger car and an eastbound passenger car collided head-on.
The investigation continues.
