North Bay OPP is reporting a 36-year-old Balsam Creek man has been arrested and charged with impaired driving.
On January 7 at 5:30pm, officers responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 63, northeast of North Bay.
After speaking to the driver, officers determined that he had consumed alcohol.
As a result of the police investigation, the driver was arrested and charged with:
- Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol
- Driving with More than 80mgs of Alcohol in Blood
The man’s driver’s licence has been automatically suspended for 90 days. He has been released on a promise to appear and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay on January 23.
