Masked would-be robber launches projectile

The North Bay Police Service is advising the public to be on the lookout for a man wanted in relation to a robbery attempt made after approaching a parked vehicle just after midnight, today.

During the failed robbery, the masked man brandished a metal bar, attempted to open the vehicle door, and demanded money from the occupants of the vehicle that was stopped at a Fisher Street gas station. When the victim drove away, police say the man threw the metal bar, breaking the driver-side mirror in the process.

The suspect is described as 5’10”, with a thin build. He was wearing a mask and a dark hooded jacket that went below the waist with red and white stripes on the arms.
