Taxi bylaw changes to be discussed at public meeting

The minimum wage increase has prompted the North Bay Police Services Board to hold a town hall meeting regarding changes to taxi bylaws.

All are invited to attend the meeting, hosted by the board, in the lower lecture room at North Bay Police Headquarters on Monday, January 22 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

The board says its goal is to have an open and engaging discussion about the impact the new provincial legislation has, and will, have on taxi owners and brokers.

If you wish to make a presentation at the town hall meeting, it is requested that you provide your submission in writing to Staff Sergeant Rick Dubeau in the NBPS Traffic Office or electronically to [email protected] before Friday at 4:00pm.
