The North Bay Police Service is reporting a drug bust involving three local individuals with a street value of $68,155.
On January 17, NBPS says an ongoing Controlled Drugs and Substance Act investigation resulted in a traffic stop and the arrest of two females from North Bay, aged 20 and 26, and one 27-year-old Temiscaming, Que., man.
A search of the occupants and vehicle revealed a total of 5,000 methamphetamine ‘ICE’ tablets, 196 grams (7 ounces) of cocaine, 98 Fentanyl pills, 58 Percocet pills and 8 grams of marijuana.
Following their investigation, police charged:
A 20-year-old female of North Bay with:
- Four counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
- One count of Possession of a Controlled Substance
A 26-year-old female of North Bay with:
- Four counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
- One count of Possession of a Controlled Substance
A 27-year-old male of Temiscaming, Quebec with:
- Four counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
- One count of Possession of a Controlled Substance
- One count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
- Two counts of Breach of Recognizance
The two accused females have been released and the male has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
