The Mattawa Detachment of the OPP is reporting a domestic violence incident.
On Friday at 2:59pm, members of the Mattawa OPP responded to a domestic violence incident.
As a result of the police investigation, a 45-year-old man from Mattawa has been arrested and charged with the following offences:
- Criminal Harassment
- Assault with a Weapon
- Sexual Assault
- Forcible Confinement
The accused is being held in custody for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay. His name is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
