The husband and wife who own the McDonald’s in North Bay and Sturgeon Falls just added to their reach. Brad and Joanne Haines have bought the five McDonald’s in Sudbury as well as the outlets in Elliot Lake, Espanola, Hanmer and Chelmsford. They acquired the additional franchises from Leigh (lee) and Brian Gainer who, after 44 years, are retiring. The Haines take over the additional restaurants this Thursday.
