The Powassan Detachment of the OPP is reporting a domestic dispute that occurred in Nipissing Township, involving a weapon.
Police responded to a call Wednesday evening and their investigation resulted in charges being laid against a 55-year-old Nipissing Township man.
He has been charged with:
- Careless Storage of a Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition
- Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
The accused has been released on a promise to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay in March.
