A 22-year-old Mississauga, Ont., woman has been charged with stunt driving by Powassan OPP.
Wednesday afternoon, officers conducting a radar patrol on Highway 11 in Powassan clocked the woman travelling 60 km/h over the posted speed limit.
The driver has been charged with:
- Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to Section 172(1) of the Highway Traffic Act
The vehicle has been impounded for seven days and her driver’s licence has been suspended for seven days as well. She has been issued a summons to appear in Provincial Offences Court on March 16, in North Bay.
