It’s being touted as an opportunity to celebrate winter in Downtown North Bay.
As you enjoy the “Carnaval des Compagnons,” let your cheeks get rosy and then warm up with a warm beverage or a Beavertail.
Saturday there will be five hours of events to keep you and the family busy while getting some fresh air and maybe even a little sun.
Beginning at 11:00am with the welcoming ceremony, the day will be action-packed with a lumberjack show, horse-drawn carriage rides and ice sculptures. There will be plenty of music and games for the family throughout the afternoon.
Motor vehicle access to Main Street from Fraser to Wyld Streets will be restricted.
Participants are asked to bring a non-perishable food item in support of the North Bay Food Bank.
