There are five workshops scheduled for 3-2-1 Dance but only tonight’s session at 7:00pm at the Capitol Centre is open to the public.
Professional choreographers and dancers Robert Desrosiers, Jasmyn Fyfe, Robert Glumbeck and Yvonne Ng are delivering contemporary dance workshops as part of 3-2-1 Dance, a two-day residency focused on choreographing trios, duets, and solo dances to area dance-interested groups tonight and Wednesday, followed by a performance at the Capitol Centre at 7:30pm on Thursday.
The programming, now into its ninth year, is made possible by Ontario Arts Council funding within OntarioDances and channelled through the Capitol Centre. The community outreach component promotes dance by building on existing audiences while creating new audiences within the catchment area of the Capitol Centre.
