The eight part series Discovery begins broadcasting next week about Ontario Northland features at least one resident of North Bay. Jodie Nichols is a rookie conductor for the ONR and the third generation Nichols to work for the rail company. After graduating from West Ferris Secondary School, Nichols took the Railroad Conductor Program at Confederation College in Thunder Bay. After graduating from the program she became a conductor trainee for the ONR in 2016 and is now a rookie conductor. Viewers can start learning more about Ontario Northland next Monday at 10:00pm when Discovery airs the premier episode of its series.
