For the second time in less than two weeks, a police officer from North Bay faces a drunk driving related charge. The OPP pulled the man over on Highway 94 early Sunday morning. His vehicle was allegedly weaving in its lane. The 39-year-old North Bay police officer has been charged with failing to provide a breath sample. This is the second time this officer has faced an impaired charge dating back to a 2012 conviction of failing to provide a breath sample.
Another North Bay Police officer was charged with impaired driving after a crash on Lakeshore Drive last week. He also faces charges for failing to remain at the scene of the accident.
