Construction for the province’s Winter Road Program underway…

First Nation communities in Northern Ontario will have an easier time getting around this winter. Construction has begun for the province’s Winter Roads Program. The government is building over 3-thousand kilometers of temporary roads over rivers, and ice, that will serve 31 First Nations. Since 2003, the Ontario government has invested more than 49-million dollars through their Winter Road Program.
