The Nipissing Trackers will be featured on an episode of the Rick Mercer Report, airing on CBC tonight at 8:00pm.
Comedian Rick Mercer spent some time recently at Laurentian Ski Hill filming alongside the Trackers.
The segment highlights the free downhill ski program for special needs children that has been changing lives for nearly 30 years. This year is the biggest season yet, with 30 volunteers providing approximately 350 lessons to roughly 50 students and their families over a five-week period.
The 15th and final season of the Rick Mercer Report wraps shortly and the Nipissing Trackers and their organizers are thrilled to see the final product tonight.
Mercer will be back in town May 5th to perform in Rick Mercer’s Canada Coast to Coast to Coast at the Capitol Centre.
