The five health units in the northeast are trying to see if they can share some services. This includes the North Bay-Parry Sound District Health Unit. The exploratory project won’t see the health units merge. The health units already share some of their expertise and want to expand on that. The health units are looking for a company to identify where they can collaborate without losing any jobs. The other health units are located in Sudbury and District, Timiskaming, Algoma and Porcupine.
