The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit has released a shocking report about Dunaj the Downtown Doberman. The Health Unit says they have received four reports of dog bites from Dunaj over the period of a year and a half. The owner of Dunaj was aware of these investigations at the time and did not appeal any of the four notices. Further victims have now come forward and their reports are being investigating. Prior to the hearing, Dunaj will be released to his owner and put under strict confinement rules for public safety. Victims have been receiving death threats on social media, so to protect them, the hearing information will not be available to the public.
To provide some background… Dunaj is a very well-known Doberman to the downtown area. Since an accusation came forward, and the Health Unit suggested putting down Dunaj, several witnesses have come forward to the dogs defence. A Facebook group to save Dunaj also has over 3-thousand supporters.
