A collision between a tractor trailer and SUV near Hagar has killed one person.
OPP investigators have confirmed the victim was the driver of the SUV while the driver of the transport received minor injuries.
The crash took place just after 10:00am Tuesday.
OPP say the collision has closed Highway 17 in both directions and the roadway will remain closed for some time.

However detours are in place.
The Hagar crash is one of two fatal collisions on Highway 17.
OPP say a tractor trailer hit a rock cut west of Sudbury in the Whitefish area killing one person and injuring another.
The westbound lanes in that area of Highway 17 remain closed and traffic is being detoured.
