The Labour Market Group is once again holding Workforce Week across the Nipissing and Parry Sound Districts.
The event highlights the huge number of job opportunities that there are in the region.
Today at The Grande Event Centre in North Bay employment experts are on hand to help people become job ready.
That’s followed on Thursday with the Job Fair also at The Grande Event Centre.
Both take place from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
In Burk’s Falls at the Agilec, there’s a 12-hour course spread over Tuesday and Wednesday that helps employers recognize the signs and symptoms of a variety of mental disorders and how to respond in emergencies.
On Thursday at the Caswell Resort in Sundridge, there are presentations about workplace culture and updates on the Employment Standards Act.
