Capture the culture and heritage of North Bay with a photograph and win

Entries continue to be accepted for the Youth Engagement Photography Contest that is being offered by the Municipal Heritage Committee.

The Committee is asking participants to explore and capture the culture and heritage of North Bay in a way that reflects their worldview. Contestants are challenged to think about what they see, and provide a short caption explaining why the photograph is important to them. The photograph itself may be contemporary or taken in the recent past but must have been taken by the entrant to the competition.

Due to public demand, the age limit for the photography contest has been changed to include individuals who are 18 years of age and under.

Prizes for this contest are as follows:

  • 1st Prize – $100 DIA Gift Card
  • 2nd Prize – $50 DIA Gift Card
  • 3rd Prize – $25 DIA Gift Card

  • All entries must be submitted to the City of North Bay by 4:00pm on Friday, April 27. Entries received after this date/time will not be considered.

  • Participants are required to submit the photograph, together with a completed Photographic Release Form and potentially a Model Release Form or Art Release Form (depending on the nature of the submission).
