A four way stop sign is coming to Nipissing and Main West in North Bay. Council heard from three residents on the issue Monday night including Barbara Smith who is blind. Smith has to wait until she doesn’t hear any motor vehicles to cross the street in that area so she can catch her bus. And sometimes that wait is five minutes long. Although it wasn’t part of the resolution, Smith, other residents and some councillors also support reducing the speed limit in the Nipissing and Main area.
