Premier Kathleen Wynne visited North Bay yesterday. When asked about issues like the Ring of Fire and the ONTC, she said that there is progress being made on both fronts. When asked about specific timelines with those projects, she was not able to provide one.

Meanwhile, she admitted that the original plan was to sell the ONTC but now, the plan has changed. She said Liberals are committed to coming up with a successful business model for the system. While here, Wynne met with Brian Kelly, the spokesman for the Gneral Chairperson’s Association. He said it was a positive step and allows for employees to feel confident in their future with Ontario Northland.
