The Nipissing University competitive cheerleaders delivered a strong showing at the World Cheerleading Championship this past week in Orlando, Florida, at Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports.
The Lakers Cheerleading team placed 14th out of 22 teams.
The event is the most prestigious competition in the world, bringing together 11,000 athletes from 40 countries competing in the elite level 5 and 6 divisions.
