In the market for something local?

The North Bay Farmers’ Market is back in full bloom beginning this weekend.

The 16thseason of the downtown market opens Saturday at 8:30am and runs until 1:00pm. It is located in Parking Lot #10 off Oak Street and Wyld Street, behind the North Bay Transit Terminal.

The market features delicious seasonal fruits and vegetables, pasture-raised meat and poultry, local maple syrup and honey products, breads and baked goods, prepared food, sauces and preserves, handmade artisan and craft items, live music, balloons, face painting and more.

Wednesday marks the opening of the fifth season of the second North Bay Farmers’ Market. Wednesdays, the market is open from 10:00am to 2:00pm in front of the Discovery North Bay Museum at Ferguson Street and Oak Street.

The North Bay Farmers’ Market runs from the May long weekend until Thanksgiving, rain or shine.
