NBPS names its new Community Safety Coordinator

With Police Week wrapping up, the North Bay Police Service is announcing that Special Constable John Schultz has been selected to fill the position of Community Safety Coordinator.

The North Bay Police Service is pleased to once again have a Community Safety Coordinator on staff. The move is in line with the 2018 Police Week theme of “Celebrating Policing and Community Partnerships.”

Schultz, who brings 32 years of policing experience to this position, says the coordinator promotes and administers community-related programs by the North Bay Police Service to enhance relationships between the police and the public.

Schultz says this will be accomplished by providing community-based programs, lectures, public appearances and displays for various community and business organizations. The position also deals with the coordination of media releases and communication to members of the public.
