The president of the North Bay chamber of commerce is applauding Tuesday’s budget. Derek Shogren says having no new taxes during tough times is a good thing. Shogren is also optimistic that the Harper Tories will eliminate the deficit by next year’s budget. But the chamber president says for that to happen the feds have to continue to hold the line on spending plus there has to be new growth.
