A 21 year old man has been charged with four counts of dangerous driving after a collision took place at McIntyre and Cassells. Police say the driver of a Dodge truck lost control and hit a parked car, which then was pushed up onto the sidewalk and hit a woman. The truck then went on to hit three children who were also on the sidewalk. All four were taken to hospital with serious injuries. The adult is now recovering from minor injuries while the three children are being looked after by the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario in Ottawa. Dustin Calder of Brookes Street has been charged as the OPP technical traffic investigation team continues to look into the incident.
