More high schools may start to be included in the iconic East – West cheer competition. The interest comes from schools in Parry Sound and Almaguin. The competition is held annually at Memorial Gardens and sees about 3000 high school students from North Bay, Sturgeon Falls and Mattawa. The Near North District School will discuss the idea of expanding at tonight’s board meeting.
