North Bay councillor Tanya Vrebosch says she is not abdicating her duties. The claim came from resident Maurice Switzer who didn’t like her response when another resident questioned why graders were out when there was no snow. Vrebosch suggested the person should talk to staff. Later she clarified the comment adding that staff are the experts on issues and they have answers. But Vrebosch stressed she was not abdicating her responsibilities as a councillor adding she also meets with residents. Switzer told Vrebosch councillors are voted into office to look after our interests and should not be referred to staff.
