City staff is suggesting that North Bay’s operating budget be increased by 700-thousand dollars over last year. That number didn’t sit very well with some city councillors at last night committee meeting, including the mayor. Al McDonald said he would prefer to see the operating budget increase at the inflation rate. The report will stay on committee while staff see if they can find any savings.
