No, not Chewie the Wookiee, but K-9 Chewie, a 2-year-old yellow lab who comes to Victim Services through the Citadel Service Dog program in British Columbia.
Chewie will aid in supporting victims of crime and tragedy and will reside with a member of the police force, Doug MacIntosh, and family, as selected by Victim Services of Nipissing District’s certified trainer Chip Kean.
