News Two convenience stores on Lakeshore robbed by different men SHARE ON: Rocco Frangione, staff Friday, Jul. 13th, 2018 Two convenience stores on Lakeshore have been robbed only hours apart by two different men. The first robbery took place just before midnight Thursday at a store on Lakeshore’s south end. Police say a man, who appeared to have a gun under his waistband and covered his face with a bandana and sunglasses, made off with an undetermined amount of cash. Then just before 2:00am Friday, another man robbed a convenience store at Lakeshore’s north end of cash and shop items. He also wore sunglasses and hid his face with a red balaclava. Police say the first man was tall and thin. He wore grey plaid golf-style pants, a long-sleeved blue fleece shirt and a navy blue ball cap with a red letter B on the front. The suspect in the second robbery was a thin man about six feet tall. He wore grey pants, a black long-sleeved shirt and white gloves. Police continue to investigate both robberies.
