Two convenience stores on Lakeshore have been robbed only hours apart by two different men.
The first robbery took place just before midnight Thursday at a store on Lakeshore’s south end.
Police say a man, who appeared to have a gun under his waistband and covered his face with a bandana and sunglasses, made off with an undetermined amount of cash.
Then just before 2:00am Friday, another man robbed a convenience store at Lakeshore’s north end of cash and shop items.
He also wore sunglasses and hid his face with a red balaclava.
Police say the first man was tall and thin.
He wore grey plaid golf-style pants, a long-sleeved blue fleece shirt and a navy blue ball cap with a red letter B on the front.
The suspect in the second robbery was a thin man about six feet tall.
He wore grey pants, a black long-sleeved shirt and white gloves.
Police continue to investigate both robberies.
