It can take up to 50 blood donors to help someone in a motor vehicle collision.
This is your chance to give the gift of life as Canadian Blood Services says there are still over 100 appointments to fill for next week’s clinic in North Bay. The goal is to collect a total of 96 units of blood at each North Bay clinic but currently, the appointments are only 47.5 per cent booked.
The clinic will be held at the Elks Lodge in North Bay next Wednesday from 1:00pm to 2:30pm and from 4:00pm until 7:30pm.

Canadian Blood Services recognizes summer is an especially challenging time for blood collections as warm weather and vacations mean donating blood isn’t top-of-mind.
