North Bay Police are investigating a home invasion that resulted in gunfire.
Police say suspects tried forcing their way into a Mountainview Drive home and struggled with the homeowner at the front of the home.
At this point one of the home invaders fired a shot and the suspects all fled the scene.
The gunshot didn’t hurt anyone.
Investigators believe this was not a random incident and are looking for the culprits.
The incident took place shortly before 1:00am Sunday.
