North Bay Police say an alert resident stopped an attempted break and enter by calling them when he saw a suspicious person trying to break into a business on Oak around 9:30pm Tuesday.
Police are thanking the resident for getting involved and helping to keep the community safe.
The suspect had taken off before police arrived but they have a description.
The young man is average height with a thin build.

He wore dark shorts, a sleeveless orange shirt and a hat.
Police add the business wasn’t damaged and nothing was stolen.
