Be careful if a woman in her mid-twenties comes into your North Bay business looking to change $100 bills.
The woman is carrying out the sleight of hand scam and has so far conned three merchants out of nearly $1,300.
North Bay Police say the scam saw the woman ask for $20 bills in exchange for several $100 bills.
The suspect then would change her mind and ask for the larger bills back all the while secretly pocketing some of the smaller bills.
When she gave the $20s back to the clerk some were missing with the clerk none the wiser.
Police say the largest of the scams saw one businesses conned out of $800.
A second business lost $300 while the third is out $180.
Police have released an image of the woman with the hope someone can help them identify her.
