North Bay’s mayoral race is down to four active candidates, although five names will still appear on the ballot for the October 22 municipal election.
Mike Guillemette has announced that he is stepping away from the race for mayor due to personal and family reasons.
Guillemette’s name will still appear on the ballot with those of Will Boissoin, Sheldon Forgette, Gary Gardiner and Al McDonald as the deadline to withdraw from the race passed July 27.
