North Bay Police are investigating an incident that resulted in one person being hospitalized.
Police call the matter an unsolicited altercation among people who know one another.
It took place in the 200 block of Main Street East around 9:30pm Thursday.
Police say a 37-year-old person was injured and is getting hospital treatment for the injury.
Police are investigating what caused the altercation and who was behind it.
