The OPP are investigating a case where a tire came off a tandem trailer on Highway 64 and hit another vehicle in West Nipissing.
The tire incident took place just before 11:00am Thursday.
Investigators say the trailer was being pulled by a dark pick-up truck when the wheel came off.
The driver stopped but police say he then quickly drove away and continued south along Highway 64.
OPP are asking anyone with information about this incident to call them.
