Some quick takeaways from last night’s North Bay City Councillor Q&A hosted by the Near North Landlords Association.
Active transportation: good.
Clean up downtown: good.
Jobs: good.
Redeveloping Cassellholme: also good.
There was surprisingly little talk about revitalizing West Ferris and those Summer in the Park numbers are still not out in the open.
It was a cumbersome event with more than two dozen candidates trying to get their platforms across, but well-moderated by Dee Adrian.
A common theme emerging among both incumbents and newcomers to the Council race is a need for transparency and respectful debate around the table when the newly elected body sits.
