Citizens of North Bay and area concerned about the repeal of Bill 148 gathered outside the North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce early yesterday evening.
Organizer Jared Hunt of Nipissing Decent Work told supporters the existing laws have benefited low-wage workers. Bill 148 includes a scheduled increase of the minimum wage to $15, paid sick days, and equal pay for work of equal value.
