Brazeau bringing Battalion fans to their feet

North Bay Battalion captain and OHL leading scorer Justin Brazeau has been named the OHL Player of the Month for October.

Brazeau, 20, scored a whopping 26 points (11 goals and 15 assists) in 10 games. Brazeau tied a team record with a seven-point performance on October 21 versus the Kingston Frontenacs and was subsequently named both the CHL and OHL player of the week. Following last night’s game versus Erie, Brazeau has tallied 35 points this season, tops in the league.

The New Liskeard native recorded points in eight of his 10 games during October, with multi-point outings in six of them. The fourth-year forward earned first star honours three times, second-star recognition twice and was named the third star on one occasion.
