It was a cold experience for a man stranded on Lake Nipissing for 11 hours, but OPP say he’s alright.
The man was on his way to the Star Light Marina Saturday evening in one boat and a friend in another.
Both had started from the Lavigne boat launch.
However, when the man’s engine died, he drifted further away from the other boat.

Emergency services were called and the OPP, West Nipissing Police and West Nipissing Fire Department responded with search vessels.
They found the man Sunday morning just before 7:00am.
Police say the cold killed the battery on his cell phone so he couldn’t call anyone.
